Throughout my life, I’ve acquired and polished a number of interesting skills (baton twirling, playing the flute, driving, waiting tables, snowboarding, changing diapers, nursing, running long distances, blogging, etc.). One skill, however, that was learned but not in the least polished, was cooking. I can follow a recipe, and I love well-prepared food, but I’ve just never taken the time to really become a great cook myself.
And now, with crazy schedules, school, evening activities, multiple jobs, and trying to exercise daily, I’ve decided to give up my dream of becoming a domestic chef until my children are a bit older. For now, my goal is to find as many meals as I possibly can that take no more than an hour to prepare. I’m all about quick and easy these days.
When Moms Meet and WORLDFOODS asked me to review their line of sauces, I thought, “Sure, why not? I can find a way to use these sauces to make a meal that today’s moms can make.” (Hopefully). When I received the sauces in the mail, they looked delicious with exotic flavors from all over the globe.

The WORLDFOODS website offers a number of delicious recipes, but I decided to create one of my own that wouldn’t take long to make and that would please all members of the family.
Ingredients:
- Boneless, skinless chicken breast or chicken tenderloins
- A variety of bell peppers (green, red, orange, yellow)
- 1/2 onion
- Sea salt
- WORLDFOODS sauce of your choice (I used Creamy Chicken Kaffir Lime)
- Basmati rice (or a plain rice of your choice)
Directions
- Julienne the peppers and onion and slightly saute in olive oil or coconut oil to soften (set aside)
- Prior to cooking the chicken, cut in strips (I cut into cubes while it’s cooking to make it easier for the kids to eat)
- In a wok, add olive oil and cook chicken until mostly done
- Add vegetables and sea salt
- Saute until ingredients brown slightly
- Add WORLDFOODS sauce and increase temperature
- Bring ingredients to a boil, then lower to simmer
- Let ingredients simmer until they thicken (about 15 minutes)
- Cook rice accordingly
- Plate rice and top with chicken stir-fry
- Enjoy!

That stir fry looks really good, and not too hard to make. My family likes all different kinds of stir fries. Chicken is our favorite kind. I just picked some fresh red bell peppers from my backyard garden, they would be great in my stir fry, just like yours.
