It’s sometimes hard to find food products that are completely clean of junk. Food is fuel for our bodies, and our bodies will obviously function better with whole foods that can be utilized for complete energy. ginnybakes is a family-owned company with a mission of creating “outrageously delicious and nutritious treats that everyone can enjoy.” The founder, Ginny, is a holistic nutritionist who works tirelessly with her team to create products that are good for our taste buds and our bodies.
Though I don’t have a gluten allergy, I have found over the past year that my energy level increases if my intake of gluten decreases. Gluten is a substance present in cereal grains, specifically wheat, that is responsible for the elastic texture of dough. I love bread. I’m the first one to grab homemade bread from the basket at an Italian restaurant and slather it in olive oil, but I limit the amount I eat because too much bread and gluten makes me feel sluggish and tired. I’ve also noticed that if I eat a large amount of gluten (i.e. several pieces of a pizza and a beer), my stomach will cramp.
I’m always on the lookout for organic, non-GMO, gluten-free foods that actually taste good, and I must admit, ginnybakes has been added to my favorites list.

My favorite ginnybakes product are the ginnybars. I love bars that I can throw in my bag or purse and take with me. Mornings are crazy around our house, and I can barely get my boys fed and everyone out the door. Mom eating breakfast is usually the last concern, so eating a bar on the go is a must.
My two little boys, ages 5 & 2, love these products as well. They don’t have a gluten allergy, but significant research has shown that limiting gluten can ease childhood anxiety, behavior problems, even symptoms associated with autism. If your child has any of these behaviors or has a true gluten-allergy, you should certainly add ginnybakes products to your list of options. For me, as a mom who is always on the lookout for healthy food options, these products add some variety.
If you are one who loves healthy, organic, clean eating, try ginnybakes. You won’t be disappointed!

These look delicious! I am following a gluten free diet because of how awful I feel when I consume too much gluten (can be painful at times!). These look delicious – I have never heard of them before! Will be looking out for them in store.
It’s painful for me as well! Whole Foods carries them, or you can order them online.
I have not seen these, and I’m all about gluten-free! I especially like those bars – it’s always nice to have a bar or two to throw in your purse for a healthy snack when you’re out – so you don’t stop and get something NOT healthy!
Exactly! And these bars are delicious and filling.
Those look delicious and your little seem to enjoy them.
My mom has gone Gluten Free. I am going to mention these to her, she is always looking for more products to try.
Definitely! It’s always nice to have a range of options.
Everything sounds so tasty. However, I would like to get my hands on some of those bars. They would be great for me to pack for after a workout at the gym!
Exactly! Perfect for after the gym.
These products look nice. Thanks for sharing. Non-gmo and organic…. big thumbs up! 🙂
That’s an interesting connection between the lack of gluten and increase of energy. I’d consider cutting gluten for that reason alone!
My son Wyatt is gluten free so these sound great! I love introducing new gluten free foods to him 🙂
