Dollywood
There are three main aspects of Dollywood that bring us back year after year.
First, the folks who work there are very kind and knowledgeable about the park. Most of them are either retirees or college students (during the summer and holiday months). We’ve had season passes for two years and never during that time has a Dollywood employee been rude to us.
Second, the temperature at the park is absurdly cool. Even when the parking lot is 90 degrees, it feels nice and breezy inside the park. It’s rather bizarre, actually. The way the park is positioned and the number of trees surrounding it keeps temperatures down, even on the hottest of days.
Lastly, they really do have fun rides. The roller coasters are especially fun and when considering the park in its entirety, there is a lot of variety and uniqueness to their ride selection.
Other perks are nursing centers for breastfeeding mothers, the show selection, and short tram lines. The only negatives are that the food and drinks are outrageously expensive and they need recycling bins, but when compared to other parks, Dollywood is fun, clean, and appealing to all ages.
