You have a gorgeous running route. Everything is covered in ice & snow here, so there is no running outside for anyone right now.

I really do! It’s a beautiful lake near our house. That was one day out of 20 where the weather was actually not freezing.

Beautiful sunshine and gorgeous run route! I wish it were sunny here! It’s just grey and freezing!

Looks like you had a lovely run! I’m not a runner, yet. I love walking at parks and at the beach and taking pics.

    • susannabarbee February 12, 2014 at 10:26 pm #

I love running and taking pictures at the beach as well. Such a beautiful setting to exercise!

Sunday was such a great running day! I even got outside to run 2.5 miles. (I really hope I’m ready for a 10k on Sunday!)

Oh, so incredibly beautiful! I’m so jealous that you’re near the water. I wish I was.

  8. Liz Mays February 12, 2014 at 10:58 am #

That would be plenty of motivation to keep going. It’s beautiful out there!

  9. peachthetherapypig February 12, 2014 at 11:42 am #

I love the stairs down to the water! It sure looks a lot nicer there than here right now! (As I’m staring out the window watching it snow!)

    • susannabarbee February 12, 2014 at 10:27 pm #

Well, this was last Sunday. We are now under almost a foot of snow. I can now only sigh when looking at these pics. Sun, come back!

  10. Candy @ Candypolooza February 12, 2014 at 2:56 pm #

Beautiful pictures. They make me miss my days of running outside. For now, I guess I’ll just curl up under my blanket and think warm thoughts. :)

I miss the lake! Plus, we have had 3+/- inches of snow on the ground since January 6th…

    • susannabarbee February 12, 2014 at 10:29 pm #

Ugh! Now we are under a foot of snow as well. I do love Lake Junaluska! The last misses you too (as do I). Hope you guys are well!

I wish I could run. I need to train for my Princess Half Marathon next week, but there’s WAAAY too much ice around here to even get out of the house!

  18. Jenn @TheRebelChick February 12, 2014 at 7:12 pm #

Nice views! I had this one bench that was on my route, and it became “mine.” I have so many pics of it and it became my symbol of motivation!
